TROY – Aug. 29 last year was a hot, sunny day when D’Andre L. Jones barricaded himself in a family member’s Trenton Street apartment for an hour-long standoff with police, including two tactical teams, before surrendering.
Eight months later, the four charges Jones faced — attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and third-degree criminal weapons possession — are dismissed and the case file sealed. The speedy trial clock ran out on the 38-year-old Jones’ case.
